This role will be responsible for establishing efficient warehouse processes, managing inventory accuracy, overseeing shipping and receiving operations, and building a high-performing warehouse team to support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and storage.
Lead the transition of inventory and warehouse processes from Los Angeles to Jupiter, ensuring minimal disruption to customer service and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including order accuracy, inventory accuracy, shipping timelines, and productivity.
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate inventory transfers and replenishment activities.
Ensure proper handling and storage of golf apparel, accessories, footwear, and related merchandise.
Recruit, train, supervise, and develop warehouse staff.
Establish performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
Create employee schedules to support operational demands.
Foster a positive, safety-focused, and accountable work environment.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments through various parcel and freight carriers.
Partner with vendors, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable workplace safety regulations.
Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Merchandising, Purchasing, and Finance teams to support business objectives.
Assist leadership in forecasting warehouse capacity and operational needs.
Participate in special projects related to business growth and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment management experience.
2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management software, and operational transitions.
Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience in apparel, golf, retail, sporting goods, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
Knowledge of Shopify, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP/WMS systems.
Forklift certification or experience overseeing material handling operations.
