Meet and exceed revenue/distribution objectives for improved volume, profits and share.
Develop account specific strategic initiatives and annual financial and sales plans in conjunction with SVP and President.
Generate retailer support and commitment to joint business plans.
Develop a close personal working relationship with all key retailer personnel.
Maximize current business via sales/marketing initiatives, improved space management and productivity analysis.
Develop/manage trade and budget plans to effectively deliver growth and profit.
Expand consumer acceptance/takeaway via effective merchandising/promotional activity in addition to timely replenishment resulting in high in-stocks.
Manage overall account specific trade funds to ensure acceptable investment while achieving business strategies and financial objectives.
Effectively interface with management as well as cross-functional management.
Leverage cross-category opportunities to maximize sales/distribution and to create a competitive advantage.
Lead new business processes to create a competitive edge and to establish organization as supplier of choice.
Work closely with all functional areas at all key accounts to establish and integrate realistic strategies and objectives.
Participate in product development/line reviews to provide the customer insight.
Seek and disseminate competitive intelligence of importance internally, including competitors’ pricing, programs, sales techniques, operational techniques, etc.
Lead quarterly product reviews, assortment plans and account sell-in meetings.
Qualifications:
BS/BA required.
10+ years sales/marketing experience with major retailer partners (major retailer experience preferred).
Hosiery background strongly preferred.
Expert and functional knowledge of Microsoft office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
