This role will support various aspects of the production site; repair, install, adjust, preventive and routine maintenance of production equipment, monthly reporting, tracking, and ordering parts or tools, as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair inserting and accessory equipment, along with other site equipment such as compressors, humidifiers, water treatment, fire suppression, and other systems as needed.
Follow production schedules and perform preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and solve user-reported problems, including assisting machine operators to effectively operate equipment.
Proactively monitor, schedule, and prioritize tasks to maximize attainment of daily mailing commitments.
Safely store and manage all parts, tools, ladders, and other equipment.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed, following safety procedures for you and employees.
Assist with setup of new or upgraded equipment – including documenting all changes and testing results for management.
Qualifications:
Experience using electronic troubleshooting equipment.
Experience in the Finishing/Inserting Department, including knowledge of the materials used in production – types of fold, inserts, custom envelopes, and custom forms/paper is strongly preferred.
Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Smart Sheet).
