Review service schedules, with assistance from department manager to maintain schedules and ensure timely completion of service calls.
Coordinate project material, equipment needs, and deliveries in order to maintain job productivity and projected completion schedules.
Analyze systems and review findings to determine source of problem, recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
Double-check work to prevent callbacks.
Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Complete and forward service tickets, in legible, comprehensive fashion.
Provides communication link between the customer and the company, ensuring effective service.
Responds to service calls in timely fashion, including after hours if assigned to provide emergency services.
Attends schools and seminars to maintain and advance technical knowledge.
Comply with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.
Qualifications:
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability of statistical inference, and fundamental of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
