Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees focused on distribution center operations.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions covering essential skills such as load unloading, materials handling, order picking, and shipping receiving.
  • Provide instruction on the safe operation of equipment including forklifts and RF scanners.
  • Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure skill mastery.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and adjust programs accordingly.
  • Maintain training documentation and records to comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages employee engagement and development.
Qualifications:
  • Must be fluent in English & Spanish. 
  • Experience in a distribution center environment with a strong understanding of operations.
  • Familiarity with load unloading processes, materials handling techniques, order picking methods, and shipping receiving protocols.
  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred to effectively train staff on equipment operation.
  • Experience using RF scanners and operating forklifts preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and documentation efficiently.
  • A commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace.
