Attend meetings with PM/FS/LC.
Assist in creating, updating and maintaining libraries of equipment, fittings for BIM system.
Properly files all drawings, BOMs, and cut sheets.
Provide detailed shop drawings as required of duct and piping for complete project, with in-time frames provided by project manager or department manager.
Provide piping and hanger assembly drawings for Pipe Fab Shop, Sheet Metal Shop and/or Prefabrication Shops.
Learn all necessary information regarding mechanical and plumbing installations that will apply to MEP systems.
Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Make any adjustments or changes necessary or desired.
Draw finished designs from sketches.
Using computer assisted drafting and design (CADD) equipment and software – Revit, Navis, Sysque, Vic Tools, Excel, Go to Meeting Software, and email.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of AutoCAD Design software; MS Internet Explorer Internet software; MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
