Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trimble total station operation.
  • Complete understanding of job specs, schedule, and construction sequencing.
  • Possible CADD work involves the placing of Trimble points.
  • Aid in keeping the Trimble Manager in the loop on what is happening on site.
  • Maintain and file all jobs in organized folders.
  • Provide as-built points and DWG files back to coordination.
  • Provide Superintendents with locations of certain points in the field.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Use computer assisted drafting and design (CADD) equipment and software – Revit, AutoCAD MEP.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to operate and understand Trimble equipment; perform 3D scans, knowledge of Trimble Total Stations and their abilities.
  • Capable of working in the field and performing field tasks, as required.
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of MEP system knowledge, construction techniques, and special awareness.
  • Ability to read/interpret documents, write routine daily reports, correspondence and construct informative/organized emails.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to learn and evolve with the progression of technology.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
