Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records related to accounts receivable. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming payments via checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Communicate with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and address billing inquiries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare AR reports.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in MIS software (NetSuite) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work occasional overtime during peak times.
