Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and investment opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial reporting standards.
• Conduct account analysis and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage cash flow analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare reports for management regarding financial performance, including variances from budget.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting management role within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles, double entry bookkeeping, and debits/credits.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.
